Have you ever said 'I think they’re basically the same bunch of goons and thugs they’ve been for the last 50 years' ?

If yes, just let you know that loads of people are now pissed off by your very professional insult, which is quite unprofessional as an anchor of CNN.
I really really think put more than 1,300,000,000 people (well, you can half that number if you think it is necessary, whatever) into anger is a good idea.
